Construction of 3L Hardshell Material

3L hardshell material is a sophisticated, multi-layer fabric designed to offer ultimate
weatherproofing and durability. It consists of three layers:

Layer 1 - The Outer Shell
The exterior “hardshell layer” is made from tough, abrasion-resistant fabric
which is designed to resist scuffs, tears and abrasions that are unavoidable in the day to day of an avid rider. This layer acts as the first line of defense against the elements and
road hazards, ensuring durability even in rough conditions and rider abuse.

Layer 2 - The Middle Layer
Sandwiched in the middle of 3L fabric is a waterproof and breathable high-performance membrane. This layer ensures that water and wind are kept out while still allowing sweat and moisture to escape. The result is a balance between dryness and comfort, preventing the rider from feeling clammy during long rides.

Layer 3 - Inner Lining
The insider layer is designed for comfort and moisture wicking. It provides a smooth interface between the rider’s body and the outer layers, helping to manage body temperature and sweat. Often, this layer is soft, lightweight, and designed for all-day wearability.
